A Mechanical Technician is responsible for completing all mechanical repairs which are associated with the automobile collision. A Mechanical Technician must provide his/her own hand tools, air tools, and mobile tool cabinet.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform all facets of small to heavy mechanical repair
2. Complete all repairs in a manner in which the repaired areas are restored to the original manufacturer’s specifications
3. Work independently and with others with a minimum of supervision
Basic Requirements
Complete understanding of all facets of light through automobile mechanical repair. The ability to read and follow instructions precisely and to work independently as well as with others in an organized manner is essential. I-CAR Gold Class and ASE certification is necessary.
